The International Workshop-Conference on Teaching Philosophy (IWCTP) is a family-friendly conference for philosophy teachers at every educational level. We emphasize workshops that are practical and interactive, and that cover a wide range of subjects related to teaching. Concurrent with the IWCTP is a selective and highly popular teaching and learning seminar for graduate students, co-sponsored with the American Philosophical Association. Special events during the conference include our famous wine and cheese reception, film series, conference banquet, and many other informal activities. Typically, we “take over” a local pub in the evenings so we can continue conversations and friendship-building. If you choose to join us at the upcoming conference, you’ll discover why the American Association of Philosophy Teachers is known as one of the most friendly and inclusive professional organizations in philosophy!
