The 2025 APA Central Division Teaching Hub

The 2025 AAPT-APA Central Division Teaching Hub offers two days (February 20-21) of online workshops focused on the practice of teaching philosophy. Instead of standard academic talks, Teaching Hub sessions are highly interactive and aim to leave participants with concrete and practical strategies. All APA attendees are welcome to come to as many (or as few) sessions as they like to develop relationships with other philosophers who care about teaching, learn from each other, and problem-solve together.

Since the Teaching Hub is part of the APA Virtual Meeting, attendees must register for the meeting to attend Teaching Hub sessions. However, the closing session–“Festive Learning: Some Thoughts on In-Class Engagement”–is open to the public without any advanced registration. The session features longtime AAPT contributors David W. Concepción and Russell Marcus. Zoom links for all public sessions are available on page 9 of the APA Central Division Meeting Guide (pdf link).
