Model Proposals
Sample Proposals for the AAPT Workshop-Conference on Teaching Philosophy
The authors of the model proposals to which we have links on this page have agreed to share their work. These proposals were originally submitted for our 2012 workshop-conference. Notice the attention to the activities of participants and to scholarly research supporting their work, and the range of topics and formats we have selected. Our audience appreciates hearing about other teachers’ experiences as well as cutting-edge pedagogical research. When constructing your own proposal, please do not feel constrained by any of the details of these proposals. We encourage proposals on any of a wide variety of topics.
