There are two contexts in which votes are taken in the AAPT:

1. the election of Board members and Officers
2. votes taken by the Board

For the election by AAPT members of Board members, we follow a procedure outlined here.

For votes taken by the Board at meetings, we follow the AAPT-Standing Rules Of Order.

For votes taken by the Board by electronic communication, we follow the policy outlined here.
