Election Results

I am pleased to announce the results of the fall 2006 elections of the American Association of Philosophy Teachers:
  1. The by-law resolution approved by the AAPT board at the August conference was ratified by the membership.
  2. John Wager was elected vice president.
  3. Elected members-at-large of the board were:  David Concepcion, Nils Rahut and Tziporah Kasachkoff.
Our thanks for their service to the Nominations and Election Committee - Steve Bickham, William Johnson, David Concepcion and Stephen Schulman.
And our thanks also to those who showed their readiness to serve the AAPT through their candidacy in this election:  Andy Carpenter, Marvin Croy, Barry DeCoster, Joseph Givvin, Joan Grassbaugh Forry, Karen Hornsby, Mimi Marinucci, F. Scott McElreath and Adrianne McEvoy.
Our organization is fortunate to have so many capable and active members!
