New TeachPhilosophy101 Site

The website, TeachPhilosophy101, created by John Immerwahr of Villanova University, is now being maintained by the Philosophy Documentation Center with Erin Tarver of Emory University serving as editor.

The redesigned, reorganized, and upgraded site, co-sponsored by Oxford College of Emory University and Philosophy Documentation Center, went live last month. The site offers “free, user-friendly strategies and resources to the academic community” and covers everything from course planning to assessment techniques, from general advice and resources on pedagogy to tips for dealing with particular instructional challenges.

TeachPhilosophy101 has long been a valuable resource. The new website is even easier to use than ever before and all materials on the site are freely available with a Creative Commons license to permit easy usage.

Thanks go out to John, Erin, Oxford College, and Philosophy Documentation Center for establishing, maintaining, and now ensuring the future of this valuable resource.
