Wyndham Garden Hotel*:
About: Located very close to campus with a special St. Edward’s rate. The Wyndham was recently renovated and is 100% smoke-free property. They do offer shuttles to and from the airport.
Cost: AAPT guests stay for $109 a night. Just let the front desk know you are with AAPT and St. Edward’s University.
The conference-rate block of rooms will be released July 4; reserve your room before that to secure the reduced rate.
Location: 3401 S. IH-35, Austin, TX 78704. About 10 minute walk to campus and 2 minute drive. There are some shuttles that will run from the Wyndham to St. Edward’s University.

About: The quirky Austin Motel fits in with Austin’s mantra of “Keep Austin Weird.” Located in the heart of the South Congress district, the Austin Motel runs at a slightly lower cost and a non-pretentious experience.

Location: 1220 S. Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704. Great location in walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, and the Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trail.

About: New hotel located near campus with a calm, zen-like feel.
Cost: Room rates run between about $119 to $210 a night depending on style of room, number of nights, and number of people in the room.
Location: 3017 IH-35, Austin, TX 78704. The hotel is located within walking distance of about 20-25 minutes but with a crossover of Interstate Highway 35 and driving distance of about 5-10 minutes.
